SNOW DAYS!!!

We know the snow can throw everyone off a bit, but we LOVE getting to go to TASK!
We took advantage of the cold weather and did a fun science experiment. We each selected a small toy and put them in a cup of water and placed them outside in the snow. We determined the temp outside was 32 degrees and our water was 68 degrees. We charted our estimates of the time it would take to freeze.
It became a little competition between friends of who's would freeze faster.

The unveiling of the frozen treasures.

IT was a little cold!

This poor Smurf!

He took this experiment very seriously.

So proud!

How long?

Frozen fish

How many got it right?

What a great group activity!

It ended up taking about 3 hours. We loved showing everyone our frozen surprises!
